This genuine vintage handmade bookcase is in really great condition! It has just been newly refinished and painted - however, it is priced according to a cosmetic flaw.
I painted the inside of the cabinets and forgot it in the sun where some bubbles in the paint appeared on the bottom shelf. So the paint is flawed, unfortunately! But if you plan to put items on the bottom shelf, you won’t even see it. Original price was set at $350, without the flaw.
It is made of solid mahogany! Outside has been refinished and stained, inside was too flawed to refinish so i painted it a complementary brown color. High quality Sherwin Williams paint, so it should last!
The top of the piece has remnants of a ring mark. It’s sturdy, no wobbles. No other notable flaws! So much life left to live.
